Make sure to empty and refill your hot tub on a regular basis. This is done for many reasons. Multiple people entering your hot tub will eventually lead to the water getting dirty. Your filter system will manage for a little while, but eventually you will need to replace the water.

In between emptying your pool, Poology recommends keeping it sanitized is important. You should use chlorine to combat algae. Sanitizing the hot tub before using it is not a bad idea either. Make sure to scrub the surfaces during this time as well. Bacteria and algae can easily build up on the walls of your hot tub. Just adding chlorine isn’t enough to fully sanitize. check out our awesome reviews by clicking on this link https://poology.com/best-inflatable-hot-tub

Step 2

You should be using a water softener when refilling the tub so that you do not have to worry as much about the chlorine in the first step.Water softeners also lower the stress on your filter system. Speaking of your filter system, you should check on it as well during this step. Clean your filter of any debris that may stuck in them. You also may change the filter with a new one.

If you fail to properly clean your filter system, you may find it working less and less. Checking your filter system every week or biweekly is very important. Spraying it down with a hose is a viable option but you can also toss it in the dishwasher. If you cannot find your filter, check the user manual that came with your hot tub.

Step 3

When not in use, make sure to keep your hot tub covered. Dirt and debris get into pools and hot tubs all of the time. Keeping a cover over your hot tub will make it easier to clean it when you have to. installing a hot tub ozonator may prevent issues like hot tub folliculitis.

Step 4

As some extra tips, make sure to shower before entering your hot tub. Similar to the previous step, this will make it easier when you have to clean the tub as you will not be dirty when entering the tub. You should also make sure to keep your filter clean as well. Following the manufacturer's instruction on cleaning your filter is advised.

Wearing sandals on the way to your hot tub is also a good idea. This will keep your feet clean and dirt free before hopping into the hot tub.
